School is out! We will head over to NFCC to receive and sort donations, count goods, stock shelves, clean and serve our community in whatever way needed.

This workshop is designed to address the common struggles found in middle school. Each participant will walk away with a 'Survival Kit' complete with conflict resolution strategies, researched-based guides and practical tips that lead to a successful middle school experience.

Sew Fancy
We will learn the lost art of sewing from an expert seamstress. Girls will create their own wearable design. One lucky participant will take home a sewing machine of their very own!

Gratitude vs. Attitude
Have you ever stopped to realize how grateful you are? In this workshop we will take a look at girls aged 11-14 in various countries, we'll hear their stories of survival and take an indept look at their day to day rsponsibilities and living conditions. We will then reflect on how to use the comforts we've been given to benefit others.

"Chopped"
A cooking competition like no other. We will first learn the basics of cooking. Then the girls will face off in a fierce timed challenge to create the best dishes. The winner of this competition will earn a gift certificate to the restaurant of their choice.

Intro to Social Grace - This workshop will address basic table manners, advanced table settings as well as proper etiquette for business and social events. Taught by an Certified Etiquette Professional these skills are beneficial for a lifetime.
